Reason for the stay: Neen chose to stay because of his little brother's and his own safety. Being afraid to go somewhere else and not making it out there was the biggest fear.

Favorite Place: The caves in the west.
Forte: 
Singing: Neen mostly sings to himself, in peace and silence. Though, when he really wants someone he gets manipulative and starts to lure others to him with his singing.

Neen mostly has bad traits in his personality: Over protecting and possesive of the one's he loves or cares about, selfishness which gives him a somewhat bad reputation. Most of all, he's awfully flirty, which can get to a point where he disgusts other people and annoys them by the constant cheesy lines. But once you get to know him, you can see how much of a caring older brother he is, brave enough to protect his little family, no matter the situation.

History: Trough his childhood, Neen lived with his family in the Atlantic Ocean. He was a lively merman who'd constantly get in trouble for visiting dangerous places. His parents feared for him, and tried their best to maintain his desires for dangerous places or actions. Although, to their luck, Neen would swim away then come back home without a single scratch. It was shocking to them at the time, but it was also a relief that they knew their son was fine. But what managed to tone down his energetic behaviour, was his little brother. He actually acted like a real pouty kid trough the first year or two of Mino's life. Neen was always the one who got most of the attention, but as he was growing up, the lesser the attention was given to him. And so, you can guess on your own who was the favourite of the sons at that time.

But as the years passed, he started accepting his little brother. Morever, he liked his energetic act. They would both swim together, visit far away places with their parents, and discover new things. His life couldn't get better at that time; the constant moving, the new places, new adventures...It all stopped on one of their journies.

As they would always travel, they never stood in one place for longer than a month. Unfortunate accident happend on one of their trips. They all followed a current, Neen and Mino still quite young at that time. Their parents believed that they will reach a place where all of the mermen and mermaids go to. They believed it was some kind of a paradise. But little did they know about a fisherman's ship that was close by. Unfortunate to them, they were pretty close to the surface, and by the time they were noticed, it was too late to swim back down. The fishermen already prepared a net and their harpoons. Neen quickly swam as deeply as possible with Mino, following the order from his parents. But a scream made him turn around. The sight he never wished to see; their mother, pierced by a harpoon. The young mermen stood in one spot, seeing red all over, their father gone as well. Mino cried and screamed, but Neen...He couldn't accept the fact what happend, not by a chance. To get the story a bit short from here, Neen escaped to the nearby caves with his brother. They spent days and days in there, afraid that the people might come for them too. Until Neen sucked it up and took his little brother on another journey.

This time, they ended up in some kind of a place where there were a lot of mermen and mermaids. It was a colorful, happy, and a bright place for them, new at the time, but now a home to them. Trough the years, they haven't said a word about their parents, still afraid to go out and far away. It was as if they forgot about what happend. Morever, Neen made a promise to his brother, saying. ''This will be a new beggining for us...''.

  

Thoughts on humans: 
He isn't fond of humans at all. Though, he has no fear of interacting with them, even learning about them.  
Relationships: 
Mino- His younger brother.
He has more of a love-hate relationship with his brother. Trough his childhood, he liked how his younger brother had so much energy, but today, he grew slightly tired of that and a bit annoyed. As much as he is protective of him, he sometimes act a bit distant to him. But yet again, he shares the deepest of secrets with him, shares a long past, memories; good and bad. The only thing he's afraid to do in front of Mino, is talk about their parents. To them, that is like the forbidden toppic...

Additional Info: 
-He's quite flirty so don't be suprised if he gives you a wink or blows a kiss on the first meeting
-He loves flowers and corals, seashells especially and has a huge collection that he keeps in the caves
